carbs are so important.

You're nicer with carbs. I know it. I hope you know it too. Shop this colorful collection to start a conversation or to end a conversation. Let them know how you feel about keto… remind yourself about the goodness that is carb food.

Fact: your brain relies on energy from glucose, a molecular breakdown from most carb containing foods. Having a hard time concentrating? Have a snack not a coffee. Include carbohydrates.

Fact: body with an inadequate volume of carbohydrate intake is not a body that is able to perform optimally. And I don't give a shit if your friends are talking about the value of keto. Truthfully, keto exist for kids with seizure disorder. Application outside of that is not good science. It is not possible to follow a ketogenic diet and also be well. Reminder, the humans who benefit most from a ketogenic diet are very young and also are not well. Adult bodies benefit from the carbohydrate equivalent of approximately 13 slices of bread, every day. Read that again.

Fact: making rules about food is a really lovely way to become hyper vigilant around them. If you're not giving yourself permission to eat carbs, you will eat them, but it will happen at a time that feels inconvenient and will likely leave you feeling shameful and guilty. This is not your fault. This is human biology. We need carbs.

So wear the gear and remind the people around you that they are also nicer with carbs.

XO,
